Brian Trehearne: A Continuing Archive

Poems, readings, notebooks, meditations

Poetry Recordings

I’ve recently enjoyed recording my own readings of favourite poems. I’ve posted a couple of videos to Bluesky, and the links below will take you to those posts. Scroll further down for a number of audio poetry recordings.

The audio files below include my performances of my own poems, as well as my readings aloud of poems for which I have strong affinity. These might be poems I’ve taught for years or even decades, poems that puzzle or challenge me intellectually, poems that have inspired poems. As familiar as some of them will be, perhaps they will sound new.
